Clif Family Foundation supports grassroots groups working tirelessly to conserve wild places and open spaces, advocate for pedestrian- and bike-friendly communities, and expand urban forests and restore watersheds.
Gary Erickson and Kit Crawford started Clif Bar in 1992, uniting their dual passions of nutritious food and cycling. Since 2006, the Clif Family Foundation has been proud to support hundreds of organizations working tirelessly to strengthen our food system, advance equitable community health outcomes, and protect the places we play by being stewards of our environment and natural resources.
Clif Family Foundation’s first grant to Swim Drink Fish supports efforts to expand public awareness of and engagement in clean water issues on the Great Lakes.
