A gloomy forecast was the reasoning behind our change of plans. My wife and I had planned to spend a week camping in southeastern Ontario, but the rain and high winds had us questioning if that was the right move. Comparing forecasts across the province, the weather at Point Farms Provincial Park looked perfect. We have spent a lot of time in that area over the course of our relationship, and it’s very special to us, so it kind of felt like a sign from the universe. We quickly rebooked and headed to Lake Huron. The universe proved right because Lake Huron never disappoints; the clear water and spectacular sunsets made for an incredible camping trip.

Spending time at the water's edge and reconnecting with water has always helped reinforce why we do what we do at Swim Drink Fish. I can’t stress enough how important it is for those working in the environmental sector to take breaks and get outside; reconnecting with nature goes a long way.
