On Friday, Sandy and I had another incredible music-related engagement opportunity—this time at Budweiser Stage as part of REVERB Action City, in partnership with The Barenaked Ladies. It was a fantastic chance to start conversations and engage with a lively and curious audience.

At the event, we focused on two key action items for Swim Drink Fish:

1. Swim Guide – encouraging people to scan the QR code on our cards, download the app, and explore their local waters.
2. Biinaagami – inviting folks to walk on the map, start conversations about our Great Lakes and St. Lawrence watershed, and scan the code to sign the Declaration, taking a meaningful step toward shared responsibility.

We came prepared with Swim Drink Fish and Biinaagami stickers, flags, and of course, our giant interactive map, which—as always—was the showstopper. We engaged with over 100 people on their way to the show, starting genuine conversations and hearing powerful stories about the ways water connects us all.

The map, while a bit of a challenge to wrangle (Sandy and I now fully understand its scale and weight!), was more than worth the effort. It served as an incredible icebreaker, conversation starter, and visual anchor throughout the evening.

A heartfelt thank you to Max and the REVERB Action City team for creating such a welcoming platform for environmental action. We’re looking forward to working with you again soon!
