The Weston Family Foundation is a third-generation family foundation giving grants in Canada for the benefit of Canadians.

The Weston Family’s charitable giving programs were first established in the 1950s by Willard Garfield Weston and Reta Weston. Today, the Weston Family Foundation and its Board support Swim Drink Fish through the Foundation’s commitment to Land Conservation. The Foundation is committed to stewardship of the Great Lakes and providing opportunities for Canadians to connect with the wonderful nature surrounding them.

The Hon. Hilary M. Weston and the Weston Family Foundation first supported Swim Drink Fish in 2017, with a vision to connect people to the Great Lakes. The Weston Family Foundation is the founding funder of the Great Lakes Challenge restoration initiative. Through the Great Lakes Challenge, the Foundation has become one of the largest funders of Great Lakes restoration work in Ontario in recent years.
