Take a Walk on your Local Pier

This week, I had the pleasure of taking a mid-day walk along the Port Dalhousie Pier on a sunny October afternoon. With a task at hand, it wasn't long before my little video was shot for work and I was able to spend the rest of the walk enjoying the warm sun and the sound of the waves hitting the shore (it was a bit breazy!). I paused to watch a brave soul try to kitesurf - with little success, but kudos to him for getting out there to try!! There's something magical about how waves make people feel empowered!  It was amazing to reconnect to one of my watermarks so late in the season, and appreciate the privilege of living within our Biinaagami watershed. I highly recommend taking some time (in any season!) to get away from whatever you're doing and go walk along your local Pier!
