Kingston residents will get something they’ve long wanted in the downtown area: a place to put their feet in the sand by the water.

City councillors have endorsed a $5.4 million upgrade of scenic Breakwater Park, the narrow waterfront park on King Street West, located across from Kingston General Hospital. It’s also the setting for the iconic Time statue. (Read more...)
