The cost of a major renovation of Breakwater Park is to be offset partly by a $1-million Canada 150 grant and a donation from an environmental agency.
On Tuesday, city council is to be asked to approve a planned renovation to the park, which is to include the addition of a sand beach and a pedestrian bridge to the pier, four-metre-wide walkways, concrete bleachers on the water's edge, new lights and more trees. (Read more...)
