At Swim Drink Fish, we see our movement of creating clean water for everyone a collective effort. Afterall, that's what a healthy movement is, collaboration, unity, and a togetherness that leaves no one behind. That type of collective effort takes strong leadership.

“Swimmable”? Our work focuses on the state of the water, and rich biodiversity is a great indicator of healthy waters. We encompass this goal by working towards water that is swimmable, drinkable and fishable. But what does that mean?

It’s been an exciting year at the Vancouver Community Water Monitoring Hub. The team has been working hard to restructure and implement new technology and protocols to ensure the most accurate and up-to-date information about water quality on the West Coast.

Swim Drink Fish was fortunate enough to be part of the Galiano Island BioBlitz with the Galiano Conservancy Association, Oceanwise, Hakai Institute and a whole host of community members and visitors.
